Adapter for Integrated Lifebuoy Housing

Our Integrated Lifebuoy Housings are normally mounted on two Glass-Reinforced Plastic (GRP) poles. This adapter enables the use of a single Galvanised Steel Pole instead - either because the Housing is to be mounted on a pole which is already in situ, or because a Galvanised pole is more appropriate in your particular circumstances.

[The two types of pole offer a slightly different aesthetic, but have similar levels of stability in high winds. Using two GRP poles enables signage to be fixed securely between them. A single pole can be easier to instal (using two poles obviously requires more accurate positioning), and being made of Galvanised Steel it is more resistant to malicious interference.] 

Note:

1. The Adapter can be retro-fitted to all the 24" Housings previously supplied by us, but only the most recent 30" Housings (due to a design change). If you are unsure about whether the Adapter will fit your existing Housings, then please contact us.

2. GRP poles have a round cross-section (60 mm diameter), whilst Galvanised poles are rectangular (60 x 40 mm).
