Mounting Poles (for Lifebuoy Housings)

Options:

(1) Mounting Surface:

• Soft: we supply long poles for embedding/cementing into a soft surface ("sub-surface") eg a canal-bank.
• Hard: when the pole is to be mounted to a hard surface eg a wooden jetty, we offer poles with base-plates for through-bolting.

(2) Material:

• Galvanised Steel: Tough and durable, this option is often used in corrosive salt-water environments or where resistance to vandalism is particularly important
• Glass-Reinforced Plastic: A more aesthetic option, and at a lower cost, often used in less vulnerable environments

• Supplied with either a stainless steel nut/bolt (Galvanised pole) or 2 stitch-screws (GRP pole) to secure the Housing to the Pole

(2) Base-Plate Pole (hard-surface):

• Material: Galvanised Steel or Glass-Reinforced Plastic
• Length: 1500 mm
• Cross-section: Galvanised: Rectangular 60 x 40 mm  GRP: Circular 60 mm diameter
• Weight: Galvanised: 7.5 kg  GRP: 3.1 kg
• Base-plate:  Galvanised: 200 x 200 mm with 4 bolt-holes 13mm diameter
  GRP: circular 200 mm diameter with 4 bolt-holes 13 mm diameter
• Supplied with either a stainless steel nut/bolt (Galvanised pole) or 2 stitch-screws (GRP pole) to secure the Housing to the Pole
